Fairtrade Fortnight - February 2023

Having received a letter from our local MP, our school council invited all children to take part in a Fairtrade Fortnight poster competition over the half term holidays.

"Fairtrade Fortnight 2023 is taking place between 27th February and 12th March this year and as a Fairtrade Town, Halifax is always keen to celebrate this achievement by raising the profile of Fairtrade and why it matters.

The poster could feature some of the many shops who stock Fairtrade in and around Halifax, it could showcase some of the Fairtrade products on offer or it could be made using Fairtrade packaging – the possibilities are endless!"
